Spoletorp

Spoletorp

Spoletorp international students house is located in the center of Lund. Mainly international students live in this place, the rooms are fully furnished, and cable TV is included. Approximately 168 international students live in Spoletorp. Rooms are very good according to previous international students, smoking is not allowed, actually there is no smoking in the rooms, smoking is prohibited in all students housing. Internet is included in the rent. The rent for a semester is around 18.000 Swedish crowns (around 2.000 Euros). Spoletorp has two buildings - north and south. Spoletorp south has private bathrooms, in Spoletorp north you have to share the shower, but in both you have to share the kitchen. The cleaning of your room is your responsibility, but cleaning of the common areas is usually organized by the International housing office. Cleaning the

kitchen is part of your responsibilities as listed once a week. The laundry facilities are in the basement of the building. If you are interested in sports, there are no green areas, but Lundagård is great. Living in Spoletorp gives you some advantages, if you are studying law, political sciences, sociology, theology, or linguistics, your faculty is around 10 minutes walking distance. If you are a student in economics or engineering or belong to another faculty probably it is better to go by bike or take the bus.

The city train station is about 5 minutes walking distance, nearby is a big grocery store called ICA Malmborgs, where you will find everything that you need at reasonable prices. Also just in front of the train station you will find Systembolaget, this is the government liquor store in Sweden.
